Remembering Kurt Cobain this morning.
This is a great vid of Blind Melon, back in the day, playing an acoustic set of “No Rain”. This is the way I like to remember Shannon Hoon: Surrounded by friends, and making music.

I miss Mary’s Danish
They’re one of those bands that had an all-too short lifespan. Primarily because their label, Morgan Creek, couldn’t manage its way out of a paper if they had a gun to their head. The mishandling of this band denied us of a lot of potentially great music. They were there in 1990, just when I was opening a new chapter on my life. Their CD “There Goes The Wondertruck“remains one of my most coveted (and backed up. I’m pretty sure it’s out of print.).
It’s amazing how music impacts us at certain times of our lives.
